Noel Gallagher has attacked the Brits for being "too slick" and says performers who mimed at the show should be "ashamed" of themselves.
In an outspoken blog on The Huffington Post UK today, Gallagher describes the flagship awards as simply a "TV show".
But his reputation as a party fiend remains intact.
He reveals he was up until 10am partying and even managed to end the night with a mystery £8,000 watch. Keith Richards, eat your heart out.
And despite being central to the most famous Britpop rivalry with Blur, Gallagher says he "digged" their performance.
In his blog, he writes:
It'll probably be the last time I ever get nominated so we were pretty determined to rip it a new arsehole, and from what I can gather we had a right good crack at it too.
It's all got a bit too slick that thing now though, it's treated with a bit too much respect, if you ask me... It is but a TV show with a few awards carved up and spread around... And if I'm not very much mistaken did I detect the faint whiff of a few wrong 'uns miming?
I think I did... You know who you are and you should be ashamed of yourselves. I digged Coldplay though, and Blur and Olly Murs' dancers!! (Blimey!!!)
The Sun has reported that Gallagher could now be set to play on the next Coldplay album. Watch this space.
