Pictures Of The Week: Purebreds Pancakes And Clooney (Well Sort Of)
For those not fortunate enough to catch a glimpse of the real Clooney, take a look at his wax doppelganger being 'spruced up' ahead of the Oscars at Madame Tussauds, London.
The world of competitive pet owning was revealed at the Asia-Pacific Dog Show in Manila. The show, organised by the Philippine Canine Club, is held to promote and encourage love for purebred dogs.
It was also pancake day this week, which might be why Lord Kennedy and Nigel Nelson of the Sunday People can be seen racing with their crepes on the annual Parliamentary Pancake Race in Westminster.
More serious shots see Tibetan women offering prayers at a Tibetan Monastery during the third day of "Losar" or Tibetan New Year in Katmandu, Nepal. Tibet's exiled government in India called on Tibetans this year to shun celebrations for their traditional new year, which started Wednesday. Instead, Tibetans are urged to pray for those living under Chinese rule.
