Women In Film Awards: Chloe Moretz Is The MaxMara Face Of The Future

The column inches given over to discussing teen actress Chloe Moretz are devoted almost as closely to the 15-year-old's wardrobe as they are to her screen work. As such it comes as no surprise that Chloe has been revealed as the MaxMara Face of the Future.

The award - one of the gongs on offer at the 2012 Women in Film Crystal + Lucy Awards - celebrates an actress who "is experiencing a turning point in her career through her work in the film and television industries and through her contributions to the community at large, in recognition of her outstanding achievements and her embodiment of style and grace."

Quite a demanding list of requirements from the Italian fashion brand if you ask us, but clearly Chloe has not been found wanting - especially in the 'style' category (nor in the 'grace' category because that is LITERALLY her middle name).

Regularly spotted in high end labels (Vivienne Westwood couture, Burberry, Proenza Schouler, Miu Miu, Versace...) both on and off the red carpet, we've had our eye on the actress's style for a while. In fact, she made our Ones To Watch In 2012 list - nice to see us being proven right so early on in the calendar!

She's got a bit of a wait for her prize, though - the ceremony isn't until 12 June. But there will be a chance for a spot of early celebration as Chloe is in Italy for Milan Fashion Week and expected to pop by the Sportmax show on 25 Feb.

Want to know which famous faces have previously been awarded the honour?

Katie Holmes, Zoe Saldana, Elizabeth Banks and Emily Blunt to name but a few.
