The Oscars may offer the chance to shine by yourself, but for some the thought of trotting up the red carpet or turning up alone to an after show party can be a daunting prospect.
So many starry types chose the team up with some equally gorgeous people to keep them company - well doesn't everyone need a good bit of arm candy?
The red carpet was awash with happy couples, with George Clooney stepping out with current squeeze Stacey Keilber, but it was Brad and Ange who stole the show as she flashed some serious leg to the cameras. Wonder what Brad saw in her eh?
Meanwhile, Posh and Becks flew the flag for Britain at the Vanity Fair party, meanwhile Kim Kardashian turned up with her sister Kourtney to Elton John's famous after show bash.
