Aidan Burley 'Nazi' Probe Report Delayed

Aidan Burley

The results of a Conservative Party disciplinary inquiry into an MP who attended a Nazi-themed stag party will not be published until French prosecutors have completed their own criminal investigation into the incident, the party said.

However the probe by senior officials is not believed to have concluded that Aidan Burley, who represents Cannock Chase, should have the Tory whip withdrawn.

A party spokesman said the in-house inquiry into Mr Burley's role, ordered by Prime Minister David Cameron, had been completed but that its report, originally scheduled for publication this month, had been postponed.

"It would be inappropriate to release the report's findings while French police are continuing their own investigations," he said.

Mr Burley lost his job as a parliamentary private secretary after media reports of the December 3 party in a restaurant in the French Alpine resort of Val Thorens, at which one guest is alleged to have dressed in an SS uniform and others are said to have chanted Nazi slogans.

The French probe is looking at allegations of defending war crimes or crimes against humanity; promoting racial hatred; wearing the uniform of an organisation that carried out crimes against humanity and making racist insults.

The Cannock Chase MP has repeatedly apologised for being present at the event, but said in December: "I do not believe I have broken any French law and have distanced myself from the behaviour of other people on the stag."

In the 20's and 30's a very significant proportion of the tory party were supporters of Hitler and his crew so it was just a celebration of party history.

Every day a new embarrassing scandal for this embarrassing Government. We have had David Laws Closet Homosexual and Expenses fiddler. William Hague closet Homosexual and liar. Liam Fox closet Homosexual and Downright Liar. Andy Coulson downright Liar. Camerons "Family Guru" Fraudster. We have the Privatisation of the NHS. We had Thersa May and the Immigration and Borders control mess.......Now this Nazi Prat.......When do the People of this Country draw the line with these Coalition Morons.
We should start calling Dave Cam-morron PM Elect because he was not voted into power. He formed a coatition so that he could form a government. He is clearly showing that he is only working for 1% of the top money people in this country. Use your vote more wisely at the next General election

The man at the forefront of the Tories' malicious vendetta against workplace trade union reps. Says it all! What happened to the LD promise - accepted by the Tories - that we can "sack" MPs who misbehave?! There are several in the queue from this government already.

I think eventually all our freedoms will be removed, (many of them already have been) and we shall have to watch every thing we talk about in public, and even in our own homes in private. we shall constantly have to watch our backs.
In fact I beleive we shall end up in a state far worse than any we have ever seen before.
You will not even know who your friends or your enemies are.

People dress as the devil, witches, Napoleon, Roman soldiers, Arab terrorists and Darth Vader at fancy dress parties. Political correctness has been allowed to get out of control, and needs to be curbed. The best way to deal with Nazis and other fanatical nutters past and present is to laugh at them - to give them the respect of taking them seriously is a mistake.

I think you will both find that Nazi sympathisers are alive and flourishing all over the west and most noticeably here in the UK under the guise of Government leaders Cameron and Clegg and the rest of them. Opponents are only to oppose what there told to oppose to make the stage of politics more believable to the average Joe. Stick a Hitler moustache on Cameron and you would be fooled into thinking you were looking at the former Adolf H himself. There will be no backing up from were we stand now. Policy's have been made and Laws written which will prevent any quick removal of these traitors.

"I do not believe I have broken any French law and have distanced myself from the behaviour of other people on the stag." Said the MP for Cannock Chase!
A decent way to distance yourself is by not being there.
The people of Cannock will have the opportunity to 'Distance' him from parliament at the next election. They may need reminding but hopefully they will remember!

We all laughed at John Clease goose stepping with a finger moustache around fawlty towers,
now we spend thousands of pounds in police investigations and public enquiries into someone dressed up in a costume which has been now deemed as inappropriate
