The Avengers Assemble trailer has hit the web and it's clear to see "war has started".
What's being called the "super hero team up of a lifetime" sees iconic Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow partner for battle against an unexpected enemy that threatens global safety and security.
The epic trailer doesn't give away much of the plot, but the film's blurb reads:
When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.
The film, set for a 26 April 2012 release, stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L Jackson, and is directed by Joss Whedon.
