Whitney Houston Death: Bobbi Kristina To Sit Down With Oprah Winfrey For Intimate Interview

Bobbi Kristina To Sit Down With Oprah For TV

Whitney Houston's teenage daughter is set to open up to TV queen Oprah Winfrey in her first interview since the death of her superstar mum last month.

Bobbi Kristina, Houston's only child with New Edition star Bobby Brown, has agreed to sit down with Winfrey to tape an "intimate" TV special.

The 18 year old will share personal memories of her mother and address "rumours and speculation surrounding Houston's death", according to a press release.

She will be joined by the I Will Always Love You hitmaker's sister-in-law and manager Patricia Houston and brother Gary Houston.

The interview is due to air on Oprah's Next Chapter in the US on 11 March.

Bobbi Kristina was hospitalised for extreme stress and anxiety after Houston was found dead in the bathtub of her Los Angeles hotel suite on 11 February.

Oprah was the first choice for the interview - she was invited to the funeral and candidly chatted to Houston on several occasions on her former chatshow.

The late star famously opened up about her drug abuse and her troubled marriage to Brown in a revealing special with Winfrey in 2009, when she insisted she had turned her life around.
