Next Friday sees the release of a film that wouldn't pass the storyboard-checkers of any self-respecting film studio - FAR too improbable, they'd cry - if it didn't happen to be true.
In Darkness tells the true story of a kind of Polish Oskar Schindler, Leopold Soho - himself a thief and a burglar - who risked his life many times over to save dozens of Jewish familes from certain death at the hands of the Nazis in war-torn Poland. Which sounds surprising enough, and then we learn they were hiding in the sewers underneath the streets of Lwow (now Lviv in the Ukraine).
In Darkness is in UK cinemas from Friday 16 March. Watch our exclusive clip above.Suggest a correction
