Jessica Chastain has arrived in India to start shooting Kathryn Bigelow's film about Osama bin Laden.

The Tree Of Life star and Venezuelan actor Edgar Ramirez are set to film the political thriller - given the working title Zero Dark Thirty - in Chandigarh, India, despite Hindu radicals protesting against the portrayal of Pakistan on Indian soil.

The movie, which also stars Mark Strong, Joel Edgerton and Kyle Chandler, will focus on Navy SEAL Team Six's capture of the Al Qaeda leader, in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

The producers are shooting the movie in India because of filming restrictions in Pakistan.

Jessica previously told JustJared that some of the film's scenes had already been shot in Jordan.

"After the Oscars, I go to India to shoot more of the exteriors for the film," she said.

She also said that details around the production and her role are being kept under wraps.

"The script is so incredible but they're keep it really quiet. Even my manager and agents haven't read it!," she said.

Zero Dark Thirty, directed by Oscar-winning Hurt Locker filmmaker Kathryn, is expected to be released later this year.
