EastEnders star Shona McGarty, who plays Whitney Dean, was booted out of Asda this week for suggestively smothering herself in yoghurt.

The 20-year-old actress and her co-star boyfriend Matt Lapinskas were seen larking around with the dairy dessert in a Watford branch of the supermarket.

One outraged mother told The Sun: "It was disgusting. The man was opening up pots and looked as if he was throwing it around.

"Then the girl started to smear it over herself in a suggestive manner.

"I had my kids aged 10 and nine with me and they certainly don't need to see that in the shopping aisles of Asda."

Shona and Matt, who plays Anthony Moon on the soap, were kicked out of the store by security guards and told not to return unless they could behave themselves.

An Asda spokeswoman confirmed the incident and said: "This isn't us being Albert squares. As with any customer found to be causing a ruckus in our stores, we politely asked the culprits to leave so they didn't offend other shoppers."

So what its not really that offensive...I bet that "mother" got up to things when she was younger!!! All people love double standards and love to cause a drama out of it by pretending that it offended them!!! What about the real damning news today that should be offensive to her!!! What a Muppet, as for the EastEnders kids...so effin what its not like they threw it on customers or stole the yoghurt what a total and utter J.O.K.E!!! Here's a little advice "Mother" get a grip and get a life you pip squeal!

Sorry but if that had been two homeless kids stealing a cople of tins of beans and a lof they would have been prosecuted. Once again it shows favoritism to these so called celebrities. The BBC should sack them for thrir behavior.

Silly little girl who thinks she can do as she pleases because she is in Eastenders. She needs to come down to earth. Nobody should get away with that kind of thing.

I find it absoluely pathetic that people of their age still don't know how to behave properly in public. ~Grow up both of you.

Totally agree, pathetic attention seekers. Good on you Asda.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour certainly would not call it "larking around" no respect for property or other people - no am not a prude just disgusted at the way they behaved and waste of food I would put that down as stealing unless they was made to pay for it and the mess that was caused

This was not a 'prank'. It's bad enough when you see people walking around supermarkets eating food they haven't bought and therefore do not own (who teaches them such attitudes?), but this is way beyond that. Do they normally do this at home and forgot where they were?
