South African beauty Charlize Theron is the latest star to join Hollywood’s baby boomers, after adopting a baby boy.

"Charlize Theron has adopted a child. She is the proud mom of a healthy baby boy named Jackson," her spokesperson confirmed to Us Weekly.

Jackson will be the first child of the 36 year-old Oscar winner, who split from her long term partner Stuart Townsend back in January 2010.

Let’s hope she’s more suited to motherhood than her character in her recent hit film Young Adult!

We can’t wait to hear more about the little guy and will update you as soon as we hear more.

I also am happy for Ms. Theron, But I have a question on where is the baby from? As you stated there are way to many unwanted babies in this world...even right here in the USA. But you never hear about the "Stars" adopting a baby from here. American babies need love just as much.
