Daniel Radcliffe Admits He Loved Gay Rumours

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe was secretly thrilled when the tabloids suspected he was gay.

Daniel's sexuality became fodder for the gossip columns after he shot to fame playing the boy wizard, but he wasn't fazed by the rumours and admits he enjoyed keeping fans guessing.

He says: "I had to smile when stories emerged questioning whether I was gay. Obviously I knew I wasn't but people were curiously desperate to suggest I was.

"The papers used to say I had a gay face, whatever that is, or a gay voice but it simply wasn't true... (But) when you know a gay guy has a crush on you, it's the most flattering thing."

The Woman In Black star says his relationship with girlfriend Rosie Coker has changed his reputation and dispelled the gay questions once and for all.

Daniel adds: "Now I have a girlfriend so I'm guessing everyone finally believes me... I decided a long time ago to be open about everything in my life so when photos appeared of me and Rosie together I confirmed we were dating and it put an end to the rumours."

If I had his money and a giant Johnson like he does, I wouldn't have a care in the world.

Leave the poor kid alone, he's done well and his personal life is nobody's concerns. And by the way, there's nothing wrong with being GAY! And whatever is Daniel's preference, and I reckon he's str8, he still make us proud. Good on you, kid

' "Hey, I don't mind people thinking I'm gay! I don't mind gays having a crush on me! Just as long as, of course, everyone realises I'm not and have a girlfriend!"

The politically correct way to say.....'

Not politically correct, just doesn't much care. I'm straight, but loads of people thought I was gay in my, um, prettier youth - some still do. So what? As Mr Radcliffe says, it's actually quite flattering being 'admired' by men....being fancied by men doesn't make you gay, any more than Rock Hudson or Dirk Bogarde were made straight because they were adored by women.

Here in the UK at least - I suspect you're American - we're not all obsessed with being thought of as tough and masculine frontiersmen: we like to be admired for how we use our brains as well our muscle-power. Relax, chill out....put on a pink shirt, it won't hurt you!

Major respect for this guy and George Clooney who hear gay rumours about themselves and don't react like medieval prats. Good on you!
