Kerry, who is a former Mum of the Year, was also once at the centre of a public backlash when she was caught having a sneaky drag while expecting a baby.
She adds: "I got the same stick Stacey got. I smoked during pregnancy, two to three a day. My doctor said, 'If it's stressing you out don't panic, because smoking isn't as harmful as stress.'"
Stacey, who is seven months pregnant with her second child, claimed her doctor gave her the go-ahead to smoke because she was struggling to stamp out her nicotine habit.
The scandal led to her being axed from Foxy Bingo's Celebrity Mum of the Year competition - a year after she walked away with the title.

For crying out loud I wish everyone would stop having a go at Stacey, yes she's still smoking, but has cut down, it doesn't make her a bad mother, and for those that say she should be sacked by ITV, does that mean that every pregnant woman that smokes should be sacked Get real, women have smoked for donkeys years whether pregnant or not and I'll bet the majority of those children are perfectly healthy. When I was born I weighed 6lb. 5oz, my granddaughter weighed in at 6lb. 12oz, both perfectly healthy, my mum has never smoked my daughter-in-law smoked throughout her pregnancy People say this is bad, that's bad, you shouldn't do this/that etc. etc. All this stress that Stacey is going through because of small minded people who have made no mistakes and are on the way to getting a sainthood due to their 100% perfect life should hang their heads in shame, ok maybe Stacey shouldn't smoke 3 ciggies. a day but that's not for us to judge, these people will be causing more harm to this baby due to the stress they are putting the mum through, and by the way before anyone of you start jumping up and down saying I must be a smoker, I'm not, I started smoking many many years ago as a teenager, but didn't enjoy it so I stopped after 2 months

You should get in the real world Cigarettes kill - whether its 5 a day or 20 a day. We are absolutely right to judge. Most things in moderation dont do any harm Alcohol in moderation is probably good for you. Tobacco in moderation kills. Doctors spend their lives trying to pick up the pieces from those who insist on pressing the slef destruct button. Get the message??

do you drive a car, cars also kill and so do many things, the stress that Stacey is under from 100% perfect people will be doing as much if not more damage to her unborn child by raising her blood pressure than a couple of cigarettes a day, and cigarettes don't always kill or cause damage
