Lord Coe has reassured Olympic attendants that the organisers are not allowing any margin for error.
Blogging exclusively for the new The Huffington Post UK Sport site, he maintained "in no way are we complacent", with just 134 days to go until the games commence.
The two-time Olympic gold winner admitted that pressure was piling ahead of 20 July, labelling the start date as "the mother of all immoveable deadlines" and revealed that construction and recruitment was on-going.
He hailed London as "probably the most international city on earth" and cited the diversity as key to engineering an "electric atmosphere", as the city hosts the games for the first time since 1948.
