Do you know anyone who actually owns a dashboard camera? Or, as they're more commonly known, a dash cam? Because if you do, we'd like to thank you for producing videos like this one.

Recorded by a kind-hearted motorist looking out for a fellow motorway user on the Gusinobrodskoe Highway in Novosibirsk, Russia, it shows a BMW driver suffering a serious mishap in the middle of the road.

One moment he's driving along happily, the next his front left wheel has popped off and he's screeching to a halt.

Luckily for him, the inadvertent Siberian cameraman stops just beside him to help a brother out. Makes you feel warm inside, doesn't it?

Two times in my life have I been scared to death as someone lost a wheel and it came right towards me. There I was driving happily along when all of a sudden down the freeway comes a wheel. The first time that happened I was able to switch lanes but the second time I couldn't. I was sooooo very lucky that the wheel missed me. It really does take your breath away.
