iPad Available From Midnight At Currys PC World Tottenham Court Road

The new Apple iPad will be available from 12:01am on 16 March from the Currys PC World store on London's Tottenham Court Road.

According to an official statement from Apple, the iPad will be available from 8am from the company's Apple stores, but a source told The Huffington Post that the Currys store will be open at that time and the iPad will be on sale.

Pocketlint had reported that customers would be able to buy the iPad a day early from Currys at midnight, but this could not be confirmed until Thursday.

Now, who's going to go tell the dedicated queuers at the Apple flagship on Regent Street that they've been wasting their time?
