Rugby star Gavin Henson only talks to his ex Charlotte Church when he hands over their children after a visit.
He told the Loose Women ladies about his tricky relationship with the Welsh singer on Friday's show, saying they have tried to keep the peace since their 2010 break-up for the sake of their children Dexter and Ruby.
He said: "We only see each other on handovers and stuff - it's not ideal. We did some mediation sessions as well, which has helped, and it's just all important for the kids to see us getting on."
The 30-year-old, who publicly picked out a new girlfriend, Carianne Barrow, from a group of 25 girls in reality TV show The Bachelor, said he was disappointed that this latest relationship didn't last.
Despite competing in the gruelling Six Nations and going through a difficult divorce with Charlotte, Gav says: "The Bachelor was by far the hardest thing that I've ever had to do. It really was."
