Jason Donovan has outed Gary Barlow as a Strictly Come Dancing fan, insisting the Take That star secretly dreams of competing on the show.
Barlow recently signed up to judge another season of The X Factor, but Donovan reveals his pal is actually a fan of the BBC's glitzy dance contest and would love to be a celebrity competitor.
However, the former Neighbours star has warned fans Barlow won't be hitting the Strictly dancefloor any time soon.
He tells the Evening Standard: "Gary loves his sequins and spray tans. I think secretly he fancies himself as a dancer on Strictly, but if there's one thing I can guarantee, it's that he would never appear on the show."
The Aussie hunk went on to credit Strictly with reviving his career - and with teaching him some new moves to use when he's singing onstage.
He adds: "I'm not going to lie, Strictly is one of the main reasons (my new) record (Sign Of Your Love) is coming out. My profile is bigger than it has been for a while, which is nice, but there's also a good crooner association between the album and Strictly...
"I can now go and land a job in the West End, or do the record I've just done, and rather than standing there looking like a complete turd, I can move, which is nice."
Donovan and his professional partner Kristina Rihanoff came third in the ninth series of Strictly Come Dancing.
