She said she was looking forward to "throwing herself into a new physical challenge" and it looks like all those rehearsals for Dancing With The Stars are already paying off for Katherine Jenkins.
The opera star showed off her super-toned figure in this snap she put up on Twitter. Despite splitting from her fiance Gethin Jones in December, Katherine looks healthy and happy ahead of the new series of the US dance show.
Speaking about the show, she told People magazine: "It's great to have a new physical challenge, something to throw myself into."
Katherine - who has been partnered with professional dancer Mark Ballas on the show - has denied rumours that she has become romantically involved with her dance partner after they were spotted leaving London's Brompton Club arm-in-arm earlier this month.
"We'd only known each other 12 hours and in the press it was like we're already dating, which is kind of expected I guess," she told the Associated Press.
She also took to Twitter, tweeting: "NO truth in these rumours... Come on guys, it's only been 2 months! Hearts still mending".
The new series of Dancing With The Stars hits US TV screens tonight.
