Look, we love dogs. Like, REALLY love dogs but we don't feel the need to get quite as up, close and personal as these celebs do with their canine chums.

Locking lips with a mutt is a no-no - it's not rocket science, they sniff other dog's bums - but try telling this lot that. We'll never look at Cheryl Cole quite the same way again.

Absolutely disgusting. We all know dogs wash themselves down there so what possesses people to let their dogs lick their faces. I used to know a woman who didn't know why her mouth was always covered in sores and spots until her father in law told her it was from the dog licking himself and then her. She stopped the dog licking her and several weeks later, the sores cleared up. Filthy habit.

My mutt Splinter goes in for full frenchies if he catches you unawares, he even snogs my westie General Lee when he's off guard.

well dogs do actually sniff each others bottoms, it is a form of greeting I am told.but saying that bet they still smell sweeter than some peoples breaths. so each to there own.
