Two months after they broke up, Caroline Flack has finally opened up about her three-month fling with Harry Styles.

The 32-year-old said dating the One Direction teenager had taught her a lesson about keeping her private life away from the public eye.

She told The People: "Everyone had an opinion on me and Harry, which was the hardest thing. I suppose they're entitled to their opinions but it was really tough. I learned the hard way."

The Xtra Factor presenter, who escaped to Africa for a month after the break up, said she couldn't believe how much attention their relationship attracted.

Harry was last seen begging Kim Kardashian for a date during a radio interview in America. He turned up with a massive picture of her in a bikini and a post-it note attached saying: "Call me, maybe?"

His ex does not seem bitter though - when the boyband became the first UK group to top the US album charts earlier this week, she tweeted: "Incredible news for One D!!!! HUGE news x"
