Afghanistan: Two Nato Troops Killed By Gunman In Army Uniform At Southern Base

A gunman dressed in an Afghan army uniform has killed two Nato troops in Southern Afghanistan, Isaf said on Monday.

"According to initial reports an individual wearing a Afghan army uniform turned his weapon against international security assistance force service members in southern Afghanistan today killing two service members.

"The gunman was shot as killed. We're investigating the incident and will have more information as soon as possible," a spokesperson for Nato told the Huffington Post UK.

The incident occurred in Lashkar Gah, in Helmand province. The nationalities of the soldiers are not yet known. The incident is being investigated.

It comes after it was announced U.S. soldier Robert Bales faces criminal charges for the murder of 17 Afghan civilians and attempt to murder six others near Afghanistan's Kandahar province.

Now the yanks have paid compo to the victims of their soldier does this mean our soldiers can claim when one of theirs goes off the rails( we all know the answer to this one).
