The heatwave affecting the UK over the last few days might have given your tan a boost - and possibly started a few fires - but for the exotic animals in Britain's zoos its been a great chance to laze about in their more natural climates.
In Scotland, at Edinburgh Zoo, Tian Tian the female Panda cooled down in her pool as the heat reached unusual highs for the end of March.
Female pandas ovulate just once a year and have just 36 hours in which they can get pregnant. Zoo officials have been monitoring Tian Tian and say she is almost ready to let nature take its course.
Also in Scotland, 25-year-old Rosie the Chimp ate an orange ice lolly given to her by staff at Blair Drummond Safari Park near Stirling.
Meanwhile in London it was the turn of the giraffes to enjoy in the heat.
