Robbie Williams is going to be a daddy!
The singer announced on his website that he and wife Ayda, 32, will be expecting their first baby later on this year.
In typical Robbie style, he wrote:
"Hey friendlies, I've been keeping a secret from you all. Me and Ayda are going to be a Mummy and Daddy this year!!!!!!!!
'We had sex! It works!"
He added that he and Ayda, a US actress, have "seen scans and cried... looked at babies in commercials and teared up... the nursery is already planned."
His website experienced so much traffic after the surprise announcement that it temporarily crashed.
Robbie, 38, and Ayda married two years ago at his Los Angeles home after a four year courtship. Ayda said shortly after the wedding that she could not wait to have children, whilst Robbie claimed just last year that he was 'terrified' of becoming a dad!
Today, he ended his website announcement saying he was "in love with a little person growing in mummy's belly... and can't wait to be a daddy. Crying now".
