Twins Sequel Sees Eddie Murphy Joining Danny DeVito, Arnold Schwarzenegger For 'Triplets'

Just when you thought there were no more original ideas...

1988 saw a hit comedy in the unlike pairing of Twins Danny DeVito and Arnold Schwarzenegger, and producers, always open to a re-run, are hoping for a lucrative follow-up - with a twist.

It seems the pair Julius and Vincent, improbable enough already, will find they have another sibling, in the form of Eddie Murphy.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the film doesn't have any writers or director at this stage, only the stars.

Seems absurd and a little bit desperate. It's beyond lame that you have to do a sequel to Twins, never mind getting clever and calling it Triplets, which they will be having when it bombs.

I remember reading only recently that Danny Devito was interested in a Twins sequel, he even mentioned it on video.

I'd like this for some reason.. i just hope they do it right, finally a sequel to a film that has the original main actors. Adding Eddie Murphy could also be a good move if he can perform as he did in his older films.

One thing i didn't like about Terminator is that they kept having new actors, 1 and 2 were good. 3 was also good in my opinion especially the action scenes, but if they were changing the actors for the third i don't see why they didn't keep them for the 4th film as well.. too much change going on, but making sequels or reboots they should ALWAYS keep at least the original main actors, i'm looking at you Total Recall.

Good to hear Arnie is back for this! lets hope it doesn't get cancelled.
