'Titanic': Julian Fellowes' Cast Talk Comparing The ITV Drama To 'Titanic' The Film (VIDEO)

Fellowes' Titanic Cast: 'Don't Compare Us To The Film'

Often when people think about the Titanic they think of James Cameron's 1997 epic film.

Enough people cared about the fates of Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio and their enduring love story to make the disaster flick the highest-grossing film of all time.

Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes' four-part ITV Titanic drama has the hard task of matching up to the movie and setting itself apart from a story that already seems like it has been told.

In the video above the cast of Fellowes' Titanic reveal whether they were worried about the show being compared to the film and explain why they think there's still a story that needs to be told.

Stephen Campbell Moore, who plays the ship's naval architect Thomas Andrews, reasons: "The great opportunity we have is to tell each individual character's story and how no one person was responsible for the sinking of the Titanic."
