Tara Palmer-Tomkinson Seeks 'Help' Abroad

TPT: 'I Got Some Good Help, I'm On The Mend'

Socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson admits she recently went abroad to seek "help" for her personal problems, but her rep has dismissed fears the former addict suffered a relapse.

The 40 year old took to Twitter on Saturday, telling her followers: "Sorry been offline. I had 2 (sic) go away 4 (sic) personal reasons. My head space was on a double yellow line! I'm on the mend. Small steps."

According to her spokeswoman, she escaped from her busy London life to her house in Switzerland but did not go to rehab.

Tara also tweeted: "I was a bit nervous coming back to UK but I am feeling better. I got some good help... I went away... to not let myself slip up... (and) to try (to) gain weight (and) like myself again!"

She also revealed on Twitter that she enjoyed "skiing, hiking, eating (and) yoga" during her break.

The star, who has previously struggled with drug and drink addiction, was accused of being drunk during a Radio 5 interview earlier this month when she sounded like she was slurring her words, but the It Girl denied she had fallen off the wagon.
