Harry The Hermit Crab Moves Into His New Lego Shell (PICTURES)

Harry The Hermit Crab Moves Into Lego Shell

A shell is a shell is a shell, right? Well, she who sells sea shells on the sea shore might disgree with you, but Harry the hermit crab here certainly doesn't.

Forgoing the other, more traditional housing options available to him at the Atlantis Discovery Area at Legoland, Windsor, Harry instead went for a blue and red and yellow Lego number that perfectly fits his crustacean frame.

Handily, fishkeepers (and professional Lego fans) had constructed the psuedo-shell just for him, so if he hadn't picked it, well, that would have been very rude of him.

"We decided to give Harry a wider choice and the model makers here created a special Lego house just for him," said Liane Riley, Legoland's senior aquarist.

"We weren't really sure if he'd actually move in, but he rejected the sea and snail shells on offer and seems very comfortable in his new home."

Now all they need to do is make a shell for a tortoise or a turtle. Then we'd be impressed - and slightly freaked out, if we're honest.
