Charles And Camilla: Their Romance In (Hilarious) Pictures

The Huffington Post UK  |  By Posted: 5/04/2012 11:12 Updated: 5/04/2012 11:12

We can all remember what we were doing on 9 April 2005. That's right: we were watching Chinese rioters storm the Japanese embassy in Beijing. Oh no, wait. We were watching news footage of the Prince of Wales getting married. Again.

Yes, Prince Charles and The Artist Formerly Known As Camilla Parker-Bowles are celebrating their wedding anniversary on Monday. And as no royals have provided more unintentionally hilarious photographs than these two, we thought we should mark the occasion with... the best of their unintentionally hilarious photographs!

I think Charles and Camilla make a very nice couple and I am glad that they are both happy. If they had married in the first place, none of the nastiness that happened with Diana would ever have happened. People are too caught up with Diana and forget that she had many faults of her own, including a few affairs...! I'm sure she was a very nice person, and if people got over themselves for 5mins, they would see that Camilla seems a very nice, genuine person too.

Todays news means we are one step nearer to a Queen Camilla, the one thing they said would never happen, adulterers as head of the Church of England.
09:23 PM on 04/09/2012
well the church of england was started so Henry VIII could get a divorce and he did adultery plenty. Edward, Victoria's son was messing around with camilla's descendent in one of his many adulterous affairs.

Nothing new there then. Its a tradition that stretchs back hundreds of years.

It's a shame Prince Charles wasn't allowed to marry Camilla in the first place. So many lives would not have been shattered or lost. They look pretty much like any couple beginning to go from middle-aged to old. And they look fairly happy with each other...and yet few of us will ever forget exactly how that marriage came to be. A real shame, all around.

Nothing disallowed at all. He dithered about making a decision first time round with Camilla so she married Andrew Parker Bowles.

Charles has never looked happier. They are very much a couple. They both have a sense of humour.

A one second shot can make an impression for days. Had more sequential shots been taken shown us a different outlook? A total contrast of thought?

The Queen should switch off the lights when she stands down. There will be no further need for a monarchy. The Treasury can flog off the assets for the "good" of the British people - everything else will have been sold off by then anyway.

I fully agree with you. At least you can vote in or out a President, but "Queen Camilla" will be foisted on Britain whether we like it or not!!!

pair of them as a couple is still the result of hurting their spouses with their adulterous activity no matter how much the PR machine is trying to get the public to forget it, shame on them. They should never be on the throne, hopefully his mother will outlive him and she will dissapear when he kicks the bucket

Their spouses were hussies too !

they were a couple of people in their 30s manipulating a young girl in her teens, in the case of diana and I don't blame either of their spouses for trying to find consolation outside of this conniving couple

She persuaded Charles to marry Diana because she thought that Diana was too naive to notice that he was still having an affair with Camilla.
Cynical manipulation of a much younger woman who was used to provide an heir and a spare and was always destined to be disposed of when she had fulfilled her duty.
Camilla just waited in the wings.

American fascination with Charles and Camilla borders on obsession. Why not join me putting my energy into reelecting Obama.

I'm pretty sure that your statement is more than a little inaccurate. But it's perfectly okay to keep telling yourself that.
