As if women needed anymore reason to swoon over Ryan Gosling, he goes and proves himself as a real life superhero yet again.
This time the Drive star has saved a woman from being run over by a taxi in New York City.
British journalist Laurie Penny was about to walk into oncoming traffic, when Ryan called out for her to watch out.
Recounting the incident on Twitter in a series of updates, she wrote:
"I literally, LITERALLY just got saved from a car by Ryan Gosling. Literally. That actually just happened.
"I was crossing 6th avenue in a new pink wig. Not looking the right way because I am from London. Ryan Gosling grabbed me away from a taxi.
"He did not say 'hey, girl.' He said 'hey, watch out!'"
However, the New Statesman journalist admitted she was actually unaware she had been saved by Hollywood royalty.
"Identity of no-idea-if-actually-a-manarchist-but-definitely-a-decent-sort Ryan Gosling confirmed by girl near me, who said 'you lucky bitch'
"Confession: I did a double-double-take because, initially, I thought it was @jedweightman. Then realised Jed would not wear double denim," she said.
Last year, Ryan first proved himself as a hero when he broke up a street fight between a stall holder and and a customer, which was captured on video and went viral.
