Scotland Yard's race row escalated on Thursday as three officers were suspended over allegations of offensive comments to colleagues.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission announced it was formally investigating two PCs and an acting sergeant.

The police watchdog was contacted by the Metropolitan force on Wednesday - more than two weeks after the complaint was made about their conduct between January and March.

Fresh allegations come after Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe vowed to get to the bottom of "very damaging" footage of one officer apparently racially abusing a man and another allegedly assaulting a teenage boy last summer.

Racism, Britain is full to overflowing with this perpetual slogan of rubbish, which is making many very rich barristers, lawyers, even judges far more richer than they could ever imagine. We have them all hovering for more....

The police force is a political enforcement service nowadays. They are immune from public pressure.

WHY? These rioters lost all their so called human rights the moment they went looting, thieving, smashing, and setting fire to other peoples property. We are far too soft with criminals of any age in this country,and they know that and play on it to full advantage. What about the racism towards the police, who will get prosecuted for that, let me guess nobody because they will play the race ticket and solicitors and lawyers whose only morals are governed by the legal aid chequebook and guess who pays for that----yes you and me---- or to put another way---- the taxpayer mugs.
