Woman Remanded Over Veteran Murder

A 35-year-old woman has been remanded in custody charged with the murder of a war veteran who was found collapsed in his home.

Charlotte Frazier-Doody, of Hobley Street, Willenhall, appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates' Court this morning charged with the murder of 92-year-old William Davis.

Mr Davis was found collapsed in his Hobley Street residence last Sunday evening.

Frazier-Doody, who wore a cream jumper and grey fleece at today's short hearing, was remanded into custody to appear at Wolverhampton Crown Court on 10 April.

Mr Davis, who served with the Royal Navy, died as a result of severe head injuries, West Midlands Police have said.
