Facebook has just bought photo-sharing app Instagram for $1 billion, and many users of the iOS and now Android app are worried that their reliable service could be destroyed by the "sell out".
Many have deleted their accounts, let their anger out on Twitter and others fear an in-flux of Facebook's great unwashed will kill the indie vibe of the Instagram community.
