Curious Cat Bitten By Angry Fish (VIDEO)

When a cat bites a fish, that's not news - that's just a cat being a cat. But when a fish bites a cat? Hell, that's news. Weird news, in fact.

So let us share with you the most exciting piece of amazingness to come out of a fish tank since that movie called Fish Tank - a fish biting a cat.

Just to make it even more wonderful, the cat is about as shocked at the fishy nip as you'd expect, leaping into the air like it had been electrocuted with 5000 volts.

And while we're talking about jumping cats, here's a cat jumping like a ninja - to the tune of the Benny Hill theme. Of course.

Those fish are oscars which you can keep with pirahnas but only if you buy them young and they grow up together

Nobody cares about that ... I just want to see next clip when cat eat the fish. The fish looks stupid and should learn its place. The cat should not be laughed at in the way the owner did ... the owner should have helped the cat and hit the fish hard.

I keep Oscars/Astronotus Ocellatus they are a truly amazing fish and very intelligent. The tank I have mine in is about 10 times the size of that. Cant believe how small that tanks is and they were propbably purchased that size because there's no way they could grow that big in that tank.

That fish is an Osca and I can tell you first hand how much their bite hurts... they have huge strong teeth and can swallow a Goldfish whole.
And no I have never tried that.
They can even be tamed to know their 'owner' and will interact with him or her. The tank is far too small... cruel.

George and Mildred the two I had in the 80's lived in a 6ft x2x1.5 ft tank they went 15 and 13 inches a piece, I used to tap the top of the tank water and they would come to the surface to be lifted out for cleaning, the reason that they were called G & M was that they used to mouth lock and break anything fragile in the tank like a waring couple. They used to sit and watch me when ever I was in thr room and always seemed to know when I had some river shrimp for them. They did have a Clarius as a tank mate that was at 18 inches to big for them to beat up. Incidently my cat at the time got a shock not from the Oscars but the Clarius which knocked the lid of the tank so hard that the cat was launched off the top of the tank.

Your story brings back memories, I had one oscar who had two blue acaras as mates and yes they got on ok. The 'Cichlea?' species of fish get on if of compatible size. Also had a catfish that was about 7/8 inches.
The myth about 2 second memory doesn't apply, my fish didn't only watch me they recognised me, if any one other then me went near they went into a corner.

Cats are sadistic psychos. Shame that the fish was not a piranha.
