Sweet Brown from Oklahoma who was interviewed by local news channel Kfor after her home caught fire has become an internet sensation after giving her own charismatic account of the night's events.
Her theatrical retelling of the moment she realised there was a fire was uploaded onto YouTube and has been viewed by over a million people.
In the original 40 second clip she tells the reporter:
"Well I woke up to go get me a cold pop, and then I thought somebody was barbacuin' and I said oh Lord, Oh Jesus, it's a fire. Then I ran out, I didn't grab no shoes or nothin,' Jesus. I ran for my life, and then tha smoke got me. I got bronchitis. Ain't nobody got time for that."
People have taken to social media to praise Sweet Brown, writing on Facebook walls and on Twitter that they want the Oklahoma mother to narrate their life.
Her musical accent has spawned foot-tapping remixes of the newsclip, with her line "I got bronchitis" and "ain't nobody got time for that" becoming somewhat of Sweet Brown catchphrase.
Sweet Brown told KJRH Channel 2 following the video that she was amazed by the popularity of the clip, saying "You think I could be a superstar?"
