Men Appear In Court Over Teenager 'Blasted Four Times' In Drive-By Shooting

Three men have appeared in court over the death of a teenager targeted in a drive-by shooting.

Nana Darko-Frempong, 18, was blasted four times before his attackers sped away in a car from the estate in Tulse Hill, south London, on June 6 last year.

The teenager died at the scene of the attack in the grounds of Purser House at 11pm.

He was believed to have lived on the estate for about 10 years.

Tafari Deacon, 26, of Streatham High Road, Streatham, and Christopher Gabriel, 24, of Melfort Road, Thornton Heath, have been charged with murder.

Deacon was also charged with perverting the course of justice.

Al Daniels, 22, of Pathfield Road, Streatham, was charged with possession of a firearm, a shotgun, and two counts of possession of ammunition, all with intent to endanger life.

The men appeared at Camberwell Green Magistrates' Court and were remanded in custody to appear next at the Old Bailey on July 20, Scotland Yard said.
