Chelsea will face Liverpool in the FA Cup final on Saturday, May 5 after the Blues crushed Tottenham 5-1 at Wembley - albeit with the help of a controversial second goal.

Didier Drogba scored his seventh goal at this stadium to put the Blues ahead and they doubled their lead after the break when Juan Mata was credited with a goal even though replays suggested his strike did not cross the line.

Complicated goal line technology is not needed. All professional matches have video coverage these days. It only took the ITV commentators about 20 seconds to prove it wasn't a goal. Just allow the 4th official to over rule the ref where appropriate.
