Manchester City Striker Mario Balotelli Has 'No Intention' Of Leaving Eastlands

Mad Mario Wants City Stay

Mario Balotelli has insisted he has "no intention of leaving" Manchester City.

The Italian international's future at the club is believed to be in jeopardy after a spate of recent flashpoints culminated in a red card during the 1-0 away defeat to Arsenal.

But Balotelli told La Gazzetta dello Sport: "My future? I'm under contract at City and I have no intention of changing shirt.

“I have the fortune to be working with [Roberto] Mancini, one of the best managers in the world, if not the best.

"I am only thinking about winning the title at the moment."

Mancini said after the Arsenal defeat he would "probably" sell the irascible striker in the summer, and hoped the FA would take retrospective action against him after a studs-up challenge on Alexandre Song went unpunished.

Balotelli however avoided further censure after referee Martin Atkinson - at the centre of Sunday's FA Cup semi-final controversy - confirmed he saw the incident.

He has been heavily linked to former club Internzaionale - where he recently interrupted a press conference - or Milan rivals AC - whose shirt he wore to Inter training in 2010, much to the dismay of then coach Jose Mourinho.

"Why do you always talk of Inter and Milan for me?" he asked.

"I don't have nostalgia for Italy. The Premier League is an experience that is serving me very well. When I was at Inter Milan I called my mother to solve every little problem. Now I have to go it alone. "

The 21-year-old has one more match to serve of a three-game ban after his dismissal at the Emirates Stadium and is available for selection for the 30 April Manchester derby against United.

When asked by Gazzetta who he has learned from at City, the nomadic forward replied: "My point of reference is Tevez. He always give everything, every day."
