Lorraine Kelly May Need A Walking Stick But That Won't Stop Her Rocking A Heel

The Huffington Post UK  |  Posted: 18/04/2012 12:20 Updated: 18/04/2012 13:25

It's nice to have Lorraine Kelly back on our telly every morning - we have missed her.

But the poor lamb is still getting over her dramatic accident that saw her fall off the back of a horse.

She's using the aid of a walking stick, which she was spotted with as she attended celebrity agent Jonathan Shalit's 50th birthday party last night, but it didn't stop her donning a pair of heels for the bash.

Lorraine returned to her ITV breakfast show on Monday, after a two month absence where guest hosts filled in whilst she recovered.

It was recently reported the presenter is set to shift on to an earlier slot to become the host of ailing show Daybreak.

What are you all on? She's an innocuous TV presenter who does a lot for charity and the Armed Forces, my ex regiment adore her. For heavens sake I can't get over the vitriol, nastiness, jealousy and bile spouted by so many bitter people. She hasn't harmed anyone, stolen anything, she hasn't mugged some poor old lady, she presents a very popular daytime TV programme nothing more, nothing less.I don't watch it myself regularly but I have seen her and she comes across as friendly and warm. Some people need to lighten up and save their ire for those that deserve it!

I'm not bitter and I certainly am not jealous. Just don't like the woman ... full stop!

You don't know her, only her TV persona!

I can only imagine that most people find it easier to criticize than to see anything positive in anyone.
09:12 PM on 04/18/2012
I can see positives in people, just not this person

That is quite a generalisation .... most people!!!!! If that refers to the people you know, you should expand your social circle!

It says in the article that 'we have missed her', who are the 'we' as I certainly haven't!!! Why make her out to be the 'poor little lamb' just because she has to use a stick, she is lucky she can walk, virtually unaided, and wear heels. I know so many people who aren't lucky enough to have this luxury so stop pampering her Huff Post and just tell it as it is .... a silly, annoying woman, who I can barely understand when she speaks, has been awarded an honour for doing something that thousands of people can do and still has all her 'faculties'.

If I was a horse I would throw her off as well. Not a fan.

Is she one of those 'Loose Women' - or some other nonentity? Don't know Huff thinks they are newsworthy.

Oh if only she had decided to retire......it would be a welcome relief from her stupid giggling idiot behaviour.
