Ben Hollioake, Late England Cricketer, Has Kit Recovered After Twitter Appeal

Hollioake's England Kit Recovered

Kit belonging to Ben Hollioake, the late England cricketer, has been recovered by police.

Burglars stole possessions belonging to the all-rounder from his parents' home in Perth, Australia.

Adam, Ben's older brother, took to Twitter using the #findbenskit slogan hashtag in an appeal for the stolen gear to be returned to the family.

This was tweeted by ex-England captain Michael Vaughan, Aussie great Shane Warne and Kevin Pietersen, amongst others.

Perhaps as a result of those pleas, Western Australia police have since made an arrest and subsequently found the kit. Having reported the theft to police, Adam revealed someone had been arrested.

Melbourne-born Ben died in a car crash in Perth at the age of 24 in 2002. He won two Test caps and featured in 20 one-day internationals for England.
