Anders Breivik Trial: 'My Grief Is The Same As My Victims' Grief' Says Mass Killer

Anders Breivik has admitted killing 77 people in July 2011

Norwegian mass killer Anders Breivik has compared his "pain" to that of the families of the 77 people he killed.

In his final day of testimony at his murder trial for the killings, which he has admitted carrying out, Breivik said he lost contact with friends and family after the 22 July attacks.

"[I have] lost absolutely everything," he said, according to the BBC.

But Breivik showed no remorse for the slayings, saying that his rampage was "necessary".

The 33-year-old killed eight people after denoting a bomb near government offices in Oslo before travelling to a Labour party political camp on Utoya island and shooting dead 69 people, including many children.

Since the massacre Breivik said he had been shunned by family and friends, and said that his pain was the same of those whose loved ones were slain.

"The only difference was that for my part it was a choice," he said.

Denying he was insane, Breivik said he had been the victim of "racisim".

"Because I am a militant nationalist, I am being subjected to grave racism," he said. "They are trying to delegitimise everything I stand for."

The right-wing extremist also apologised to the family of a pub landlord who was injured in the bomb attack, saying he didn't mean to hurt "civilians".

But asked if he wished to apologise to the families of those killed on Utoya, Breivik declined.

"Utoya is a political indoctrination camp," he said.

In his evidence Breivik also said that he thought political leaders in Norway would have ordered his execution once he was arrested, and that his family might also be killed.

He also gave no comment on the supposed "Knights Templar" organisation he has described in his testimony, but which the prosecution believes might not exist.

Breivik also compared himself to Al Qaeda, as he has done previously, saying that "nationalists have a lot to learn".

The killer left relatives and friends of those slain in tears on Friday, after 90 minutes of devastating testimony in which he calmly described the shootings on Utoya in exacting detail.

He could face 21 years in prison if the court decides he is sane, possibly much longer if he is considered a public danger.

It appears that Anders Brevik did not act alone.

Note also his own statements that he met with other right wing groups in London in 2003. No wonder the EDL apologists are out in force here.

Wow, seems like if you say anything other than something along the lines of "I AM DISGUSTED WITH BREIVIKS ACTIONS" on here, then you are automatically as bad as him and get a torrent of abuse. Allow people to question his sanity and other things surrounding the case. Stop being so sensationalist and closed minded.

Where did he get the money to travel and cover all his expenses?

How did he get high grade explosives?

Reports say there was more than one shooter.

The inexplicable delays in the police response.

Not that I expect the MSM to ask those questions or investigate his links with right wing groups or elements in the Norwegian secret services either.

Worked?

How did he get high grade explosives?
Bought them? Made them in a bath with industrial chemicals?

Reports say there was more than one shooter.

He would not be facing trial in Norway if he was declared insane, which many think he is. In fact after arrest he was studied in depth by two Government appointed psychiatrists who issued an official report concluding that he was insane, and thus not accountable for his actions. This created uproar in Norway’s PC pro-Islamic chattering classes & the countries Muslim community. So the trial judges in a remarkable deviation from normal practice ordered a new report from different doctors who conveniently found him sane. So that’s why we now have the trial in progress.
I smell a rat; I think they want the trial despite his madness to show what can happen if you disagree with Islamifcation of Europe, and thus silence & discredit any critics of Islam now and in the future, and why it’s receiving such over the top media cover in this country, and for the same reason.

Every single one of your points is total rubbish.

1. How do you know he is insane? Are you a psychiatrist or doctor and have you assessed him? Thought not.

From what I can tell, he has none of the hallmarks of psychosis and all of the hallmarks of Narcissistic Personality Disorder, which does not equate to 'insanity'.

2. The reason that this is getting so much media coverage is because it is a major story.

You are just another closet EDL stooge looking to twist a story about the deaths of nearly a hundred innocent people into a pulpit for proclaiming your own absurd, xenophobic and insular world view.

People seem to have started to accept " terrorist attacks " as part of the Muslim faith, which is nonsense, those terrorist are no less extreme than a Christian who commits killings. Why is it reported that a Christian who attacks for Christian or White peoples rights, has mental problems or twisted beliefs but these descriptions are not used for Muslim terrorist. And before anyone tries to say I am supporting the actions of Anders Breivik's actions I AM NOT however I do support unbiased reporting by the news.
