Dawn French has revealed she and Jennifer Saunders are hoping to work together again soon.
The pair, best known for their French And Saunders comedy show, are also set to reunite with the rest of The Comic Strip crew (Rik Mayall, Adrian Edmondson and Robbie Coltrane), the group with which they got their big break in 1982.
Dawn told the Daily Mirror: "We're doing a new Comic Strip film this summer. An adult version of Famous Five with us grown up.
"Jennifer and I are also getting together to talk about what we might want to do next. We do bits of radio here and there and we might do more TV.
"I don't think we would ever do sketches but we have had all sorts of thoughts of things we'd like to do - it's just getting the time to do it all."
Slimmed-down Dawn, 54, who recently lost around seven-and-a-half-stone, is also penning her second novel.
The funnywoman, whose debut, A Tiny Bit Marvellous, proved to be a bestseller, revealed: "It's about a woman in her 50s, told through the way she relates to different people."
