Gary Neville Loses It During Barcelona-Chelsea And 5 Other Memorable Commentary Outbursts (VIDEO)

Gary Neville's Excited Scream And 5 More Memorable Commentary Outbursts (VIDEO)

When Chelsea's Fernando Torres raced through to round Barcelona's Victor Valdes to book the club's second Champions League final, one voice pierced the air just as loudly as any Chelsea fan.

Gary Neville was known as "Red Nev" during his Manchester United days, but he got awfully excited about the Blues' progression to May's Munich final.

Neville gave an amusing excuse for his excitement:

Having already established himself as the best pundit on television, his frank commentary is also winning over even Scousers and Manchester City fans. But even the remaining detractors will struggle to find his Alan Partridge impression amusing after Torres netted what is perhaps the most memorable goal in Chelsea's history.

Neville's long exhale, as his voice pitched higher and higher, was Partridge-sprung-to-life. So here are some other memorable commentary outbursts from yesteryear:

JACK VAN GELDER ON DENIS BERGKAMP, 1998

ANDY GRAY ON STEVEN GERRARD, 2004

PETER MARTIN ON JAMES MCFADDEN, 2007

TIZIANO CRUDELI ON KAKA, 2007

MARTIN TYLER ON FEDERICO MACHEDA, 2009
