Family Sing Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody' In The Car Together (VIDEO)

Huffington Post UK  |  By Posted: 26/04/2012 10:27 Updated: 26/04/2012 10:27

We've touched on the concept of 'dad envy' before with the Depeche Mode-loving Dicken Schrader singing Everything Counts (see below) with his two little ones a few months ago.

But today we may have discovered someone whose awesomeness rivals Mr. Schrader - and his name is 'southlandification'. Well, that's his YouTube username, anyway.

Posting a video onto his channel of his children singing Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody on the drive into school, he's won us over completely, and so we've subscribed to him for updates. We recommend you do the same, to be honest.

"Depending on traffic, we can usually start the song as we pull out of the driveway, and pull into the school just as the song ends," he explains beneath the video.

It's all very adorable. And for a chance to compare and contrast his awesomeness, here's a drunk man singing Bohemian Rhapsody in the back of a cop car, as well as an 'awesome dads on YouTube' video gallery below. Oh, and everyone's favourite bit from Wayne's World. Of course.

The young child was really good to say he is so young he did all the actions and knew the song, Great idea to keep the kids occupied, less of a distraction than fighting in the back seat like most young kids.

Was filmed on a Gulf deployment as a leaving video for the captain and he didn't know it was being done http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DerD7RNMbDQ&feature=related - if link doesn't work, it's on You Tube, HMS Campbeltown Bohemian Rhapsody. My daughter was there and I am truly beaming with pride :)

GREAT!! That's how families should be interacting with each other.
We didn't do Bohemian Rhapsody but we did used to recite things such as The Cat in the Hat and Rice and Peas as we went along in the car.
