Tennis star Serena Williams is known for her flamboyant personal style on and off the court, so it was a bit of a surprise to see her dressed so demurely at an event launch in New York yesterday.
With the pencil skirt and jacket, it's pretty clear that she's taken a few fashion notes from First Lady Michelle Obama. We love that Serena's kept some of her flair with those her wild curls and gold toe-capped shoes (even if they don't match the rest of her ensemble).
