In an attempt to ignore the FA's ridiculous decision to play the FA Cup final with two rounds of remaining Premier League games to go, we're building up to Chelsea and Liverpool's showpiece event on Saturday by getting nostalgic.

We will feature five of the greatest FA Cup finals in recent memory, starting with arguably the greatest in modern times.

What unravelled was a mixture of drama, tension, excitement and - most importantly - goals galore as two sides baulked at the "cancel out" expectation to deliver expertise in everything but competent defending.

Recall all six strikes as well as the penalty shootout in the above link.
