The UK’s leading national Trail writing and delivery company has revealed the results of their London Mayoral Trails, with Boris Johnson taking first place in front of Ken Livingstone; whilst Brian Paddick is in third place and Green Party candidate Jenny Jones is in fourth.
It would appear that Boris Johnson is the last-minute favourite in the race to become the Mayor of London, as the election-themed Trail based on the former Mayor, created by the UK’s leading Trail writing and delivery company, has sold the highest number of copies and downloads in April amongst the candidates on offer.
Treasure Trails created four brand new London-based walking Trails, each of which focused on a particular candidate in the 2012 London Mayoral Election, to find out which of the candidates was the most popular amongst Trail-goers.
The trails are based on current Mayor of London Boris Johnson, as well as Ken Livingstone, Brian Paddick and Jenny Jones, the Green Party candidate and cost £5.99 each.
Each Trail in the Mayoral Election 2012 series follows the same route; beginning at Mansion House tube station, close to the home and grave of Lord Mayor Dick Whittington.
The Trails are 1.5 miles in length and take around 1 hour 45 minutes to complete. After the election, the four themed Trails will be amalgamated into a single title – ‘The Mayor’s Trail’, taking the total number of Trails available for London-lovers to explore to twenty-eight.

“There have been a number of paper and Smartphone downloads each day since the Trails launched and it’s been fascinating to watch the main candidates jostling for top position on our Trails leader board. At one point, it was neck and neck!”
