Jessica Simpson, the woman who seems to have been pregnant since the beginning of time, and who was NINE DAYS overdue, has finally given birth to her first baby.
Jess and fiancé Eric Johnson have welcomed a baby girl, called Maxwell Drew. The little girl weighed 9 lbs, 13 oz. (No surprise there, given Jessica's amazingly huge bump!).
The couple announced Maxwell's arrival with a message on Jessica's website, saying: "We are so grateful for all of the love, support and prayers we have received. This has been the greatest experience of our lives!"
The news comes after she apparently checked into a hospital in LA along with half her family, including her parents, sister Ashlee, Eric and his parents (we're guessing she had a rather large room reserved).
Jessica recently took to Twitter to deny rumours she had already given birth, saying: "To everyone who keeps congratulating me on the birth of my baby girl...I'm still pregnant!!"
