Cisse, 26, has been backed from 6/5 to 11/10 with William Hill to win the Match of the Day Goal of the Season accolade, with current favourite Peter Crouch’s odds drifting from 10/11 to Evens, while Luis Suarez is 6/1 third favourite. Hill are offering 16/1 for anyone other than one of these three winning.
Stoke striker Crouch scored a sensational volley against Manchester City in March at the Britannia Stadium while Uruguayan Suarez executed a world-class 45-yard chip against Norwich to complete a hat-trick at the weekend.
