Funny man James Corden is tying the knot with girlfriend Julia Carey and at the top of the wedding list is celebrity couple Victoria and David Beckham - and there's even talk the Gavin And Stacey actor wants Becks to be his best man.

James and Julia are planning to wed at Babington House in Somerset - marriage venue for other stars including Amanda Holden and Zoe Ball.

The pair, who have a one-year-old son together called Max, became engaged in the Maldives on Christmas Day in 2010.

But as 33-year-old James' career took off with the success of stage play One Man, Two Guvnors they have struggled to fit in the wedding any sooner.

A friend of James told The Sun: "James has been trying to get this sorted for a while as he's crazy about Julia.

"But his packed work schedule has been a nightmare to fit around. The bash will be a no-expense-spared event as he has done very well for himself over the years."

David Beckham is so super slimey , and that awful way of talking from that mealy mouth , is nauseating. Guy needs a moisturiser , the deep ingrained lines ! and those Tattoos are plain ugly , enough to give one nightmares.

Prattles away to the media , super righteous, laid out to sell, Nauseating again. Must have been a Mummys boy.

why do people want the beckhams at their wedding? to see her miserable face while walking down the isle would be a nightmare wedding not a dream one! good luck to the lovely james and his soon to be bride julia anyway

I think James Corden is funny and a very talented writer he also comes over as a very grounded decent guy I wish him and his future wife lots of happyness and lucky Beckhams to have been invited...
